Sisterhood
Sisterhood is about being there for your sisters even when it inconveniences you. It's about a group of women that have your back, no matter what. They push you to be your best and pick you up when you fall. Sisterhood is about something bigger than any individual in this sisterhood.
``Individually unique. Together complete.`` You cannot see sisterhood, neither can you hear it nor taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is a pat on the back, a smile of encouragement. It's someone to share with, to celebrate your achievements.
With over 3,000 Sisters nationwide, Kappa Phi Lambda's sisterhood continues to grow larger and stronger each day. It is through sisterhood that we build everlasting bonds that extend past our college years. We depend on each other to encourage, challenge, and motivate, while making memories that are remembered for a lifetime.
Service
Service is just not giving back to your community, but it also presents opportunities to introduce yourself and learn more about the community. You can meet new people, find something new you really enjoy, or a way to get out of the house and be active, while giving back to the community.

Service is an essential humbling experience everyone should have. Volunteering your time is one of the most significant things you can do as out of all the commodities, time is one of the few you cannot get back. Empathy is increasingly important as people become desensitized to violence and disconnected from their relations, especially in individualized United States where competition rather than cooperation is emphasized. One of the ways people can develop empathy is through community service.
Cultural Diversity
Learning about different cultures is imperative to understanding the world and the different individuals we surround ourselves with. What is rude in one culture may be acceptable in another; we need to be aware of the existence of these differences and accept the diversity in the way one may think or act. To educate yourself about culture and appreciate diversity is a part of self-growth and success.
Cultural diversity broadens your perspective and opens doors to different ways of life that could help enhance your own.
